Last June Jo and I took a road trip out east and interviewed many deeply committed solar cooker designers, promoters, and power users. Season 2 Episode 13 features Solar Cookers International's Alan Bigelow, who with several others developed a Performance Evaluation Process that met ISO standards for testing. It may be long by Tik Tok and Youtube standards, but for those deep into solar energy, this is an episode to bookmark. https://youtu.be/24ce7LtrAQ4

As a person of science I felt the video left me wanting more interaction with the technology rather than just the person. As he was describing the cooker elements the videographer could have brought the camera to the item he was describing rather than just staying horizontally fixed where you couldn't see what he was talking about. But thank you for covering this important topic. I have several cookers and demonstrate them and low cost DIY ovens that people can build themselves at Earth and energy fairs. Bob
