solar batteries

I am looking at solar batteries and do not like the fact that most are
10 year warranty. I found 48V Zenaji Aeon Batteries for Solar that are
warranty for 20 Year, 22,000 Cycles. They are made in Australia but
still not distributed to the US. Does anyone have more information on
the Lithium Titanate (LTO) Chemistry? Also are there any companies in
the US that you can get this technology from for Solar storage?

Yes there are US companies that manufacture Lithium-Ion batteries for Solar PV applications. One of them is ENERDEL www.enerdel.com and they are based in Indianapolis, IN.  Their batteries are being used in different type of applications, so I am attaching a internet link for you to see  www.youtube.com/watch?v=Crcz4rYAcXs  . In fact, I used their information in the design of Hybrid solutions to run motors 23 hours per day in locations far away from the electrical grid.

I hope this information helps you,

    Best regards,

Just as an FYI, there are 20 year industrial series lead-acid batteries such as the Trojan SIND series. Heavy but far, far less money I would guess. If you can get your hands on them, the Lead-acid tel-com batteries, usually Lead-antimony are rated for 20 years as well, but its hard to get them retail as an individual user.
