Hello again ASES online community!
To help our members get the most out of the ASES online community, I've been making a short series of posts highlighting the ASES Technical Divisions!
Last but not least, March 29th's Division of the day is the Resource Applications Division.
The Resource Applications Division, chaired by James Stalker, focuses on "the development and acquisition of renewable energy resource and it's dissemination to end users." They aim to help promote clean energy by acting as a platform to share information on measuring and communicating renewable energy resources. Specific topics include site assessment, discussion of natural factors that affect solar (i.e. weather), and discussion of policy, tech, and scientific developments in the renewable energy sector. The Division communicates via their forum, but also webinars, SolarToday magazine, e-newsletter, and more!
If you are interested be sure to join the Resource Applications Division as soon as possible!
NOTE: If you would like to join a Technical Division, you must be a Professional, Business, Student or Life member and then select the Division on your Online Community profile. It can take up to an hour to admit you to the community. If you would like to join a Division but do not currently qualify, you can upgrade your ASES membership at any time.
