I can answer 2 questions:
- I have a total of 16.5kw of grid-tied solar on my house and barn. Both have battery backup for critical loads: barn 11.4kwh of LiFePO4 batteries, house 41kwh (20 usable) of FLA batteries.
- I plan to participate in the tour, in person, as I have off and on since 2008.

If we had a bit more time, these were some of the questions I wanted to ask you all during the membership meeting. Please feel free to respond to them on this thread!
- The future: What would you like to see ASES be doing more/better?
- What would bring more value to your membership?
- Do you have solar on your house or apartment? If not, are you planning to?
- Will you be participating in the 2024 National Solar Tour by either virtually or in-person?
- Any questions, comments, feedback?

Hello all,
Thanks so much for joining us if you were able to attend the 2024 Annual Membership Meeting hosted by the American Solar Energy Society. We had an incredible keynote speaker, Nico Johnson, creator and host of SunCast Podcast, who talked about the power of solar storytelling and how to take the solar energy industry to the next level. If you'd like to follow along and learn more core elements of storytelling to bring your story to the world, please subscribe to Nico's newsletter, Valence, where he posts every two weeks about how to integrate storytelling into your business. After Nico's presentation, we shared ASES program updates, future goals, and opportunities to get involved. Thank you to everybody who asked questions in the Q&A; if we missed any of your questions or if you have any feedback, comments, or additional questions, please comment below!
Please see the recording of the Annual Membership Meeting for your reference. If you have any ideas for future ASES webinars or have any contacts, please let us know. We always love hearing from our solar community and are grateful for your participation! Please let us know if you have any questions!
Please consider donating to support our mission. Any donations between now and the total solar eclipse on April 8 will be matched (up to $25,000 by a generous anonymous donor).
Thank you for being a part of the ASES solar community!
Ella
