Hello,

An ASES member reached out and has the following question below. Does anyone have any advice for them?

"Hello, our customer, a church, is ready to file its forms for the new nonprofit direct pay tax credit in the IRA.  The IRS is requiring e-filing, but none of the tax preparation companies I have spoken with offer that service.    

They need to e-file Form 3800 and Form 3468, in addition to Form 990-T."

From my sister-in-law who does tax returns in Massachusetts: "They probably need to go to an accountant and not a retail tax prep office. A walk-in place like H&R Block or Liberty, etc. won't have staff for this but any accountant would be able to do this."
