I've launched a mostly-weekly Forum for folks who cook with sunlight to hear from the most active proponents, designers, manufacturers, and power-users of solar cookers. Each session will feature one more more guests, with either a pre-recorded conversation or live visit. Email me if you'd like to get notifications of the next date, time, guests and topics: Museum@BigBlueSun.net

If you are not already a member of the largest and most active solar cooking social media group, I highly recommend joining The Solar Cookers World Network  Note that this group is moderated by seven veteran solar cooks from around the world. We keep it spam- and bot-free, and the latest solar cooking news is shared here.

Last week I had a great conversation with Maarten Olthof with the Vajra Foundation. His work to distribute thousands of solar cookers to refugee camps in Nepal not only helped 100,000 displaced Bhutanese but also halted deforestation in the region. You can view our chat and the lively conversation that followed with 26 solar cooks from four continents: Maarten Olthof: Solar Cooking in Nepal, the Vajra Academy Change Makers School, and an Eco Village
