I will keep this short.....

"The EV tax in the BUILD America 250 Act is not fair. Gas car drivers pay about $85 a year into the Highway Trust Fund, and the BUILD America 250 Act proposes EV drivers pay $130 initially, which increases every two years to $150.
The bill also strips billions of dollars in funding for EV charging and clean transportation options, such as electric transit buses, port and ferry electrification, and healthy streets programs. EVs are already paying more in taxes in many states. If EVs are paying federal taxes, the bill should include funding to build out EV charging infrastructure on highways and in communities. "
So the FFI punitive measures keep on coming. If that would happen here in PA where we already pay $200+ dollars up to $250 a year, not by miles but for simply owning, that would bring the single car tax total to $330 to $400 just for owning an EV...
This of course is beyond crazy.....
