The results of a nationwide survey carried out by SolarReviews on the solar industry have just been released, revealing statistics such as 66% of installers seeing more interest in solar due to high electricity prices, 63% reporting increased demand in 2022, and more than 70% expecting this growth to continue into 2023.

Here are some more of the main findings:
- Solar storage and EV chargers are now the new standards, with 81% of installers offering energy storage and 67% EV offering EV charger installations.
- 58% of respondents offer Enphase battery installations, while only 27% offer the Tesla Powerwall, despite its brand recognition.
- More than 40% of installers believe supply chain issues have been worse than in previous years, leading to almost half of the respondents to purchase more U.S.-sourced products.
- The high cost of financing (42%), customer acquisition (42%), and solar installers shortage (38%) are the three main barriers to success.
- Although traditionally, the most used payment method for solar purchases are loans, recently, 42% of installations have been paid with cash.
