Impressive. I have both FLA and lithium banks in backup applications. Rolls 12 × 2KS 33PS, 24V, 41kwh @ C20 (20 kwh usable at 50% SOC), 2007 vintage, and Simpliphi 3 × 3.8kwh @ 48V, 2019 vintage. The Rolls bank cost $7700 in 2007, the Simpliphis cost ~$7500 in 2019.
Considering their current ages, I suspect both banks will crap out at the same time. But I think LiFePO4 would outlast FLA in off grid cycling applications. I know a few off gridders who've made the switch to lithium and are never going back.

Thanks. I am looking into getting a charge controller for them. I was thinking of using the sell option on my inverter to control that, but there are too many failure loopholes, leaving the bank subject to severe overcharging.

This is just a short update on my replacement lead acid batteries for my backup power system. Back a few months ago there was a discussion on Li batteries for backup power. I had mentioned I had ordered a lead acid solution at a much reduced rate. Here is a photo of the installed batteries, 46KWH at a C-100 rate, 48VDC system. I am working out how I want to have my additional solar panels I am adding charge the batteries. Total cost $9400.00 Expected life 20+ years float application for backup only on grid failure. Qty - 24 S2-690's Rolls battery. OPzV tech.
