ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability USA (ICLEI USA) and the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC) are offering an opportunity for local governments to access funding and support for clean energy initiatives through the Municipal Investment Fund. Please help us spread the word to interested local governments and Tribes.
We are reaching out because we have not received strong interest from local governments in North Dakota and South Dakota. This program is designed to support two local governments from each state and up to 4 Tribes.
The application is due March 5th, so please act quickly!
Selected participants will receive:

Up to $250,000 in grants to develop clean energy project public-private partnership plans for distributed power generation and storage, net zero emission transportation, and net zero emission buildings

Technical assistance for plan, policy, and project development

Participation in a cohort workshop featuring expert speakers, consultations, and peer networking

The potential for an additional $2,000,000 in planning and project-specific predevelopment funding
