Hi Ella: Think ASES should have more emphasis and articles on what I call mid-scale solar, something between 1 MW and 10 MW, community, muni, cooperatively owned. Local ownership reduces opposition (your own pigs don't stink) and these sizes can fit in a distribution grid and be dispersed around communities in appropriate locations. They can be more easily permitted, and avoid transmission issues, built at a cost effective size. The Inflation Reduction Act, MOST IMPORTANTLY, provides the same financial incentives for not-for-profits, so schools, municipalities, public institutions all can jump on this. Maybe an article about the major change in incentives would be of interest.
