Colleagues, my current work involves bringing a new US Embassy online in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Pertinent to ASES members, the project includes extensive photo-voltaics and a good deal of solar thermal for domestic hot water. The project is going for LEED Silver and may achieve Gold. The dedication and fanfair associated with new embassy buildings at times will include host nation political dignitaries but seldom include anyone interested in the technology - particularly renewables. ASKING MEMBERS, anyone know of sister associations in Central America that would benefit from or find interest in knowing about this project? Cheers.
