Dear Members: For those of you who attended Solar 2022 in ABQ, whether live or virtual, you no-doubt saw the solemn message from Professor Noam Chomsky at the opening reception. Dr. Chomsky carefully crafted the message, specifically to our members.
My introduction may seem long but you should remember when you introduce a speaker at a conference, especially of his stature, the introduction is as much to praise the speaker, welcome them and pay tribute. Dr. Chomsky is now working with us on follow-up questions as the video has well over 150K views in two weeks and is on track to garner over a million views. There is also a great deal of material which has been contributed by other scholars and viewers of the video, although also a fair amount of naive antagonism to his predictions.
