REMINDER: We'll be hosting our first ever ASES Education Division webinar tomorrow, Wednesday December 10 at 10 am MT / Noon ET.
Education has always been at the heart of ASES. It's right there in our mission: ASES accelerates equitable solar adoption and universal sustainable living by educating and building community. Now, we're taking that commitment to the next level. Join us as we introduce the new ASES Education Technical Division, a hub designed to connect, inspire, and empower everyone passionate about learning and teaching renewable energy.
In this session, we'll explore:
- The vision and framework for the new division
- The opportunities and challenges ahead
- How YOU can help shape this exciting new chapter in ASES education
Like a magnifying glass focusing sunlight, our goal is to create a focal point for learning, a place where people can easily find trusted information, training materials, and the best of ASES' decades of solar expertise. It's an ambitious vision, but building the future of solar education has always been what ASES does best.
Help us co-create this new "energy education village" - or should we say, Online Learning Portal… Digital Resource Center… maybe even an ASES Academy?
We're excited to have the following speakers join us:
- Wyldon Fishman (Moderator), New York Solar Energy Society
- John Steele, ASES Education Division Chair
- Remy Pangle, REpowering Schools
- Debra Rucker Coleman, Architect, AIA, ASES Solar Buildings Chair
- Liz Robinson, Philadelphia Solar Energy Association
- Tor Allen, RAHUS INSTITUTE
