Research Project seeking participants to use new renewable energy system for testig.

The Florida Solar Energy Center a research institute of University of Central Florida will retrofit 12 occupied homes with a innovative photovoltaic  power grid enhanced mechanical solution which is scalable whole-house mechanical system retrofit solution based on high efficiency HVAC and water heating components, including a heat pump water heater and mini-split heat pump, integrated with an alternating current assisted, off-grid PV and storage system, packaged in a self-contained enclosure. 

The PV-GEN will be integrated into your single family (2) or manufactured home (10) for performance testing and data gathering the system real life operations in the following states, MA, CO, TX, OR, NC and GA for 2025/26.
