Thanks, Wyldon. I'm an officer with NTREG, which now meets on the 2nd Saturday morning of each month at the North Lake campus of Dallas College in Irving, TX. I just sent Barry a direct message asking him to contact me via email and phone to discuss. It's possible that we might want him to speak at one of our meetings. People are always interested in financing options. At previous meetings we have had speakers discuss the Texas PACE Authority and Solar United Neighbors, as well as the Biden Administration USDA rural solar grant program (which may be dead now with the new administration policies).
NTREG (North Texas Renewable Energy Group) is a very active chapter of TXSES (Texas Solar Energy Society), which is associated with ASES. In both Oct 2023 and Oct 2024 my new house was one of the few (or only) houses in North Texas on the ASES National Solar Tour. My system is oversized (on purpose, so I have some resilience to grid failures with battery backup), and my PV generation over a year is about twice my house and EV charging load. So I sell back to the grid (at a discount unfortunately - not full net metering) about as much energy as my house/EV load use. It's net zero due to a ground source heat pump, house design with lots of insulation, and the oversized PV solar system with time of use shifting battery.

I am a Texas based Mortgage lender, new to the forum and have just recently been granted access to a newer Mortgage/Solar financing program. The program allows for Participating Mortgage Lenders to provide financing for full Solar and associated Renewable Energy Products in the financing of a Home Purchase or Refinance into one loan at current market rates. The program allows for the lender to finance above the current market value of the home for Solar Installation etc.
My biggest challenge is connecting with reliable partners for the system design and installation. We bring the client fully qualified and ready for loan closing with funds for the Solar System ready for disbursement from escrow for materials and final disbursement at verified completion.
I was hoping that this community might be able to assist me in referring possible connections/partners that would facilitate my full launch of the program.
Any help or direction would be much appreciated.
