William, I totally agree with that assumption but what can I say, other than, " Amp up with Solar- Ramp Down with the rest. Rest Assured Solar Procured ! The Sun aint going anywhere any time soon, we got lots of time to bloom. Watch it come together and manifest will soon. "

Yes, familiar with her "music" like Ladder and Yellow Flicker Beat from the Mockingjay soundtrack .... a few good ones. Hadn't heard that one though.
I would agree that things are moving along building the loading ramps and accessories so the people can board the ocean liner for Nirvana, Shangri-La, Eden, Utopia or pick your noun.. Progress is being made and there is HOPE in the air from some. Even a few celebrations going on, here and there from the more optimistic.
The only problem is the ocean liner already left port, but the people seem to have not noticed with any urgency. They continue to build the ramps when they should be building lots of small fast boats to catch it.... before it gets too far away....
To be honest though, my favorite from Mockingjay is"
"Are you, are you comin' to the tree?
Where they strung up a man, they say, who murdered three
Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be
If we met at midnight in the hanging tree"
The thing with those lyrics that are different than Solar Power by Lorde, (Margaritas and Banana Rum punch) is the visuals accompanying those song lyrics, were people willing to give their lives to, "Take care of business".

Technology can advance much faster than the human evolution of the mind. Human beings are creatures of habit, but nevertheless change does come but slowly, between generations, yet for some individuals change can happen quickly and this can become a flustration especially when it comes to the the environment. But when it comes to solar technologies, a certain level of know how is required to go stand alone or off grid, of which few people process the skills needed so the grid connected solar, or grid backed solar will take precedence as a company will still handle the repairs, installations, and upgrades. Then there are the large solar farms, that supply electricity to the grid where people are using solar energy but may not even be aware that their electricity is solar. The truth of the matter is things are actually moving along quite well, as all the projections are good for solar down the road as the technology continues to mature, and storage will get much better as will be needed for current solar systems. The best way to change human behavior as well acceptance is example. Keep improving. Keep the Dream Alive! Solar Creatures!~
" I hate the winter, can't stand the cold
I tend to cancel all the plans (so sorry, I can't make it)
But when the heat comes, something takes a hold
Acid green, aquamarine
The girls are dancing in the sand
And I throw my cellular device in the water
Can you reach me? No, you can't (aha)
Turn it on in a new kind of bright
It's solar (solar, solar, solar)
Come on and let the bliss begin
Blink three times when you feel it kicking in "

@william fitch Unfortunately, a lot of the misinformation is intentional. Some of it comes from the interest groups described in this podcast.

| The right-wing groups behind renewable energy misinformation | Across the country, NIMBY groups are organizing to block solar, wind, and other clean-energy projects, and to pass state laws restricting renewable energy development. Journalist Michael Thomas took a deep dive into the right-wing billionaires & think tanks behind these community groups. We discuss what he found. | View this on Volts > |

...lol... Kat.. You are just too polite. You need to free yourself.
If I take your sentence at pure face value, I would agree.
However, when you see this "type of thing", not just as "random" scattered occurrences, but as Locusts forming a swarm, growing in numbers, and those Locusts appear to have been given a chlorophyll map, I think one has to recognize that "the problem" has something other than randomness behind it, and to ignore that rather obvious fact, will likely not produce the most successful counter measures.
Unfortunately, this "problem" has been allowed to spread (Pesticide suppression), to where it inhabits almost every single aspect of orderly and accountable society. And for better or worse (debatable), humans have the ability to "get used to" being sick, believing they are normal and status quo.

Yes, a lot of illogical comments do come up related to renewable energy and other technologies that are in the process of being adopted.

Just a short additional thought here, recently in our area (a few days ago) a large solar array in Mahoning Twp (PA) entered into the assessment stage. The local rag quoted one Bill Lynn who is the lead supervisor as saying, "I am not a fan of solar projects and I am concerned about the amount of noise the panels will create." When I read that, I thought what are these people smoking, vaping or injecting. They might as well as said, "I am concerned about how the Martian's will view this situation from Mars."
The level of Ignorance is astounding. SO, when you talk about how to open up markets using "xyz" logical and rational approaches, to be practical, you must realize you are trying to bring Christianity to the cannibals.

"Why is it so hard to convince others to change? Moving people from thought to action can prove extremely difficult even when the benefits of behavioral adoption are made clear and are an obvious improvement to personal, social and environmental systems.
We tend to believe that with enough information about the benefits, behavioral change will naturally follow. This approach is known as "information deficit." Sadly, it isn't overly effective. Neither is the loss-communication approach of the environmental movement with messages like "take shorter showers," "drive less" or "waste less." Evolutionarily, humans are loss-averse, as loss equals hardship and scarcity, and we shy away from this type of communication.
If information alone is insufficient to change behavior and messaging around giving up our current lifestyles doesn't work, what can be done? It turns out that while humans are complex beings in many ways, there are some consistent tried-and-true techniques that work in motivating engagement in environmental behaviors. Let's explore some of these techniques, centralized around Community-Based Social Marketing, a framework with roots in Social Influence and Diffusion of Innovation theories."
