    Hello all!
    I received a question from a fellow ASES member, and I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on their question below?
    "Hello, I'm having a problem filing my taxes. Last year I got my solar system in December 2021. I claimed my taxes credit but I didn't have enough federal to claim it all so I'm trying to claim the rest on this year's taxes. My taxes person said it's being kick back and we're waiting on the IRS form or admission. Have you heard of anyone else having this issue?"

    I don't know about the term, "Kick back" but the federal ITC can be used up in the following year if you did not have enough tax in the initial claiming year. This is common recurring info when you google the solar ITC and claiming use rules.
