Three Earth Day Week Talking Points

1 - Earth is sustainable already  by nature with millions of years track record.. We just have to learn how to fit into that already sustainability as a species if we want to live within current equilibrium parameters.

2 - All human made products could be created to last many lifetimes with extended mandatory recycling.  A rule- If a product cannot be created to last many lifetimes and recycled we probably dont need that thing anyhow as will end up in a landfill as junk. 

3 - Wasting terawatts of electrical energy in factories everywhere for making inferior products to fail for resale must end.

The Death, and Rebirth of Earth

The year is 1970 and it is April 22, the first Earth Day. You have time traveled here from the year 2020. You are part of the, Hindsight 2020 Project that has developed technology that can observe the future, as well the past.

Yes, and all this has been known since 1970.

And yet here we are today. Ukraine being annihilated and women and children being blow to pieces. Profit being made every step of the way for that process. Planned obsolescence. Nothing new there. And it will continue and get worse under the re-emerging Global Fascism, which itself is a Capitalistic enterprise. Geocide in Gaza under the rule of a Fascist, Benjamin Netanyahu who is Jewish. (The Irony in that after 1933-1945 is unable to be described by words).

And yet it continues. Why? Profit.

SO yes, good talking points for Earth week, Earth day. Should make a big difference.

Yes Bill, these things are happening,  so sad to think about it, yet there is a brighter future looming on the horizon. The human mind is very powerful in a way that it can manifest what it dreams about over time so I would suggest that we continue to focus on this better world this better dream and get a good night's sleep.When humans sleep their biological battery recharges. In the far future the people of earth may learn to actually sleep at night again of which would save terawatts of energy otherwise used nightly to offset the night such as street lights, and factories that operate night shifts. Currently the electric car boasts how it can ride pass all the gasoline stations saving all that cash at the pump then in a few years the battery needs replaced and the fill up can cost tens of thousands of dollars so batteries surely need to evolve towards technology more biological by nature.
