Hi,
As the solar industry grows, employees in the field and in the back office are being promoted to supervisors or managers. This is great! Upward mobility is greatly needed! However, there are risks. New supervisors or managers who don't receive any training on how to be outstanding people leaders are at risk of micromanaging and causing issues on the team. This causes frustration, burnout, stress, and ultimately attrition. People don't quit companies, they quit managers.
What are your thoughts? Have you seen this happen?
