Are you involved in Solar Photovoltaics but want to develop a more complete understanding of why it is the fastest-growing clean energy technology? How did we arrive at today's technology and where it is headed? What is a smart inverter? What is the difference between all the new solar cell technologies and are they reliable? How to figure out the payback time with a calculator and 4 numbers?

University of Delaware's brand new Solar Energy Academy Professional Certificate Program offers an engaging learning experience designed for those who want to deepen their understanding of solar technology applications and policy.

    Dr. Steven Hegedus
, PV tech expert and educator with 40 years in the solar workspace will lead participants through five carefully curated modules, exploring the science, manufacturing, applications, and policy behind solar PV -all from the convenience of a virtual classroom. Classes are for three hours on five consecutive Tuesdays from 9 am-12pm. You can take as many as you wish. Discount applies for registering for all five classes.
