The upcoming National Solar Tour will be perfect for you then since many hosts choose to have in-person tours instead of or in addition to virtual tours. Hopefully, you can encourage the folks organizing the event you mentioned to post their event on National Solar Tour. This year the host system log-on has been changed to allow you to go back and modify your own tour information later for those who choose to host a tour. www.nationalsolartour.org Right after the SOLAR 2023 conference, ASES's efforts will be focused on making this year's tour one of the best ever, and we can do that with both hosts and tour-goers! And the tours focus on more than just active and passive solar - there are other sustainable technologies and all types of project sizes including educational programs that teach about solar. And as always, it's FREE, but corporate sponsors (local or national) are greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the reply.
For ME, I am an in person kind of guy. Podcasts, vid conf., etc.. is not really interesting to me.
Now actually being there, that's a WHOLE DIFFERENT ball game. Love it.
But the time and timing along with the cost and just the scheduling complexities involved just does not permit it.
There is an RE expo at the end of this month down in Phila just 2.5 hrs from me. 2 day event. The same issues apply to that, even though it is almost around the corner.

But I hope all that are able to attend have a wonderful time, and learn a whole bunch of stuff!!

The virtual aspect of the new WHOVA platform this SOLAR 2023 makes it especially easy to connect with others virtually if you can't make it to Boulder. I am getting very excited about being at the conference in early August in person. Unless you have been to one, it's hard to describe the people energy around this solar energy event. I've met some incredibly inspiring and knowledgeable people at ASES conferences over the years that have helped me grow professionally, but whom I've gone on to be friends with as well. Even the virtual conference that I attended a few years back enabled me to connect with people who guided me in the best way to both give and obtain knowledge related to solar energy, energy efficiency, and other sustainable technologies. Hope to see you soon in person or virtually!
