I will be covering the principles of space conditioning with ambient energy (from the sun, sky, air, and ground), examples of historic and modern homes that are ~100% ambient conditioned, software that is appropriate for designing such buildings, the steps for designing your own home that requires no furnace, air conditioner, or heat pump, and why ambient conditioning should be a part of our national climate/energy strategy.

     Thanks, hope you can attend the presentation.

     Resilience is indeed important. Not being dependent on electricity for heating and cooling relieves stress. It got down into the teens outdoors last night and our house was 70 F this morning. It would have been essentially the same had the power gone out.
