ASES architect Mark Chalom asked if I'd post this for him while he is traveling. I first learned of the serpent that shows up on this Mayan Ruin on the Yucutan Peninsula at the equinoxes, but had not seen it in real time like Mark just did. The ancient Mayans (and other Native Americans) seemed to be more attuned to the movement of the sun than we are now.
