M. Keith Sharp, Emeritus Professor, ASME Fellow, and P.E. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Louisville (UL) received a B.S. from the University of Cincinnati in 1976, M.S. from Colorado State University (CSU) in 1978, and Sc.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1987, all in Mechanical Engineering. He was Director of the Biofluid Mechanics Laboratory and the Renewable Energy Applications Laboratory at UL. He studied stratification in solar thermal storage at CSU and gas transport in the lung at MIT. Current interests include flow and transport in the cerebrospinal system, flow-induced hemolysis, and heating and cooling of buildings from ambient sources of energy.
