I hope you will consider submitting an abstract to present on it at SOLAR 2025. You could probably then receive very good feedback from experts who would be exposed to your work. The deadline is January 15.
I am not experienced with EnergyPlus software so cannot provide guidance. If there any other ASES members with such expertise, please chime in with assistance or references. I continue to like PV Watts for simple overview of PV design then typically leave the details of the system design up to the PV installer and their engineers.
Maybe the Solar Buildings Division Chair who also publishes a lot will have more insight.

I haven't used EnergyPlus. That's a building efficiency tool. I'd advise asking their tech support folks for guidance or tutorials.
