ASES June Webinar: Recorded SOLAR 2021 Social & Environmental Justice Keynote

    Jun 10, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM (MT)
Join us to re-watch the recording of the Social & Environmental Justice Keynote from SOLAR 2021! Session Details: Building on the conference theme of “Empowering a Sustainable Future,” this session focuses on the topics of racism and social justice as they intersect with energy in general and renewable energy in particular. People in marginalized communities have often borne the burden of environmental exploitation and energy injustice in the name of unrestrained development and technical advancement. Here, the discussion is on these problem areas and on a vision of paths forward, how we can work together to ensure that all communities benefit from the clean energy transition, and how empowering a sustainable future can bring benefit to everyone without harming the most vulnerable among us. Moderator: Dara Bortman, Founder of Exact Solar & ASES Board Secretary Speakers: Henry Red Cloud, Executive Director at Red Cloud Renewable Michelle Romero, National Director at Dream Corps Monique Dyers, President/CEO at Ensight Energy Consulting Pilar Thomas, Partner at Quarles & Brady LLP

51st Annual National Solar Conference in Partnership with NMSEA

    Jun 21 - 24, (MT)
For more than five decades, ASES has organized and delivered the National Solar Conference. What began as an idea to bring the industry’s brightest together to drive progress and re-imagine the energy economy of the future, continues today as a unique blending of science, business, policy and industry. While it is now one of many annual conferences in the field, today the National Solar Conference remains unique in its delivery of cutting-edge research, trends and analysis, the likes of which continue to affect the solar energy landscape in the U.S.
